There's a song inside of me
And it murmers restlessly
Beneath the sounds of the world around me
Always present in my mind
It sings to me all the time
A mournful song with no melody

Should I sing it out?

This song is hard to understand
It can be loud as a brass band
Or quiet as one grain of sand
It gets jealous when I hear
The sounds outside my ears
It wants to sing out clear
